Every AI interaction on Clouds Children passes through a four-layer protection system we designed, operate, and review. Your child gets learning. Not unpredictable output.
Four-layer AI protection
Four independent checkpoints, every time. No layer can be bypassed — all four must pass before your child sees a response.
Before anything reaches the AI, we screen what goes in. Attempts to steer conversations toward harmful, off-topic, or age-inappropriate content are blocked at entry.

Our system never sends a raw child request to the AI. It wraps input inside educator-authored templates — constrained frames that dictate tone, length, subject, and safety boundaries.

Every AI response is intercepted before delivery. It is scored against content, age-fit, educational value, and safety criteria. Responses that fail any check are discarded and regenerated.

COPPA-aligned
Designed for COPPA principles: no data collected from children under 13 without parental consent.

Data minimisation, right to deletion, and lawful basis for every data point we hold.

All data stored on EU-based infrastructure. No transatlantic transfers of child data.

Zero advertising, zero ad networks, zero ad tracking. Your child's attention is not a product.
No trackers
No third-party analytics pixels or behavioural tracking tools in the child experience.
No data sale
We do not sell, licence, or share child data with any third party, for any commercial purpose, ever.
Human review
Automated filters are necessary. They are not sufficient. Humans review content at every stage.
Retention
Interaction logs are retained for 90 days by default. Parents can request deletion at any time from the dashboard. Anonymised aggregated data used to improve filters carries no personal identifiers.
Parent controls
You set the boundaries. We enforce them technically, not just by policy.
Every story, game interaction, and AI-generated response is readable in your dashboard. No summaries that hide the detail.
Set daily or weekly session limits per child. The app surfaces gentle stop cues before hard cut-offs — no abrupt endings.
Adjust which content categories are available: story themes, subject areas, emotional intensity. Changes apply immediately.
Delete your child account and all associated data from the dashboard at any time, with no friction and no waiting period.
