Every AI interaction on Clouds Children passes through a four-layer protection system we designed, operate, and review. Your child gets learning. Not unpredictable output.
Before anything reaches the AI, we screen what goes in. Attempts to steer conversations toward harmful, off-topic, or age-inappropriate content are blocked at entry.

Example
A child types a prompt for a story. Anything outside safe creative parameters is replaced with a neutral alternative before the AI ever sees it.
Our system never sends a raw child request to the AI. It wraps input inside educator-authored templates — constrained frames that dictate tone, length, subject, and safety boundaries.

A story request becomes a template call: genre, emotional tone, age band, and educational goal are all set by us — not improvised by the AI.
Every AI response is intercepted before delivery. It is scored against content, age-fit, educational value, and safety criteria. Responses that fail any check are discarded and regenerated.

An AI-generated paragraph containing an ambiguous moral scenario is flagged, withheld from the child, and a clean version is requested automatically.
Nothing disappears. Every interaction is logged in your parent dashboard. You can read transcripts, see what your child created, review the AI output, and adjust filters at any time.

We do not sell, licence, or share child data with any third party, for any commercial purpose, ever.
Automated filters are necessary. They are not sufficient. Humans review content at every stage.
Retention
Interaction logs are retained for 90 days by default. Parents can request deletion at any time from the dashboard. Anonymised aggregated data used to improve filters carries no personal identifiers.
You set the boundaries. We enforce them technically, not just by policy.
Every story, game interaction, and AI-generated response is readable in your dashboard. No summaries that hide the detail.
Set daily or weekly session limits per child. The app surfaces gentle stop cues before hard cut-offs — no abrupt endings.
Adjust which content categories are available: story themes, subject areas, emotional intensity. Changes apply immediately.
Delete your child account and all associated data from the dashboard at any time, with no friction and no waiting period.
We protect and we educate. Families deserve both.
We are in active development. We invite security researchers, educators, clinicians, and parents to audit what we build and tell us where it falls short. Structured feedback reaches our safety team within 48 hours.
